We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our client's IT team and execute the development of their Banks' Integrated Reporting Dictionary (BIRD) implementation. This critical role will focus on building robust data extraction and processing solutions to support European banking regulatory compliance, specifically for the Integrated Reporting Framework (IReF).

As a Senior Python Developer M/W your mission will be: * Technical Development - Design and develop Python-based data extraction and processing pipelines - Implement robust connections to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services - Build scalable data transformation solutions for regulatory reporting - Develop and maintain PL/SQL procedures for complex database operations - Create automated data validation and quality assurance processes - Implement secure data handling procedures compliant with banking regulations * Data Architecture & Integration - Design efficient data models supporting BIRD dictionary requirements - Integrate multiple internal banking systems and data sources - Optimize database performance for large-scale regulatory data processing - Implement real-time and batch data processing workflows - Ensure data lineage and audit trail capabilities * Collaboration & Leadership - Active collaboration in technical discussions with stakeholders and regulatory teams - Collaborate with business analysts to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions - Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision-making - Document technical specifications and implementation guidelines

Your profile: Education requirement: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related IT field Technical requirements: * Python: 5+ years of advanced Python development experience - Proficiency with data processing libraries (Pandas, Polars, NumPy, SQLAlchemy) - Experience with async programming and performance optimization - Knowledge of Python testing frameworks (pytest, unittest) * Google Cloud Platform (GCP): 1+ years of hands-on experience - BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Dataflow * PL/SQL: 3+ years of database development - Experience with Oracle DBMS - Complex stored procedures, functions, and packages - Performance tuning and query optimization * Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts * Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines * Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Language Requirements: * English: Professional working proficiency (B2/C1) * French: Native or fluent level (C1/C2)
