We are supporting a global, research-driven pharmaceutical organisation as it scales its cloud and data platforms for early-stage drug discovery. This role sits within a highly technical, collaborative engineering team that builds cloud infrastructure and platforms used directly by scientists and R&D specialists. This is a hands-on Cloud Engineer M/W role, focused on designing, deploying, and operating AWS infrastructure using modern Infrastructure-as-Code practices. You will work closely with architects, product owners, and other engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable systems that have a real impact on healthcare outcomes.
MissionYour missions will be: * Design, build, and operate AWS cloud infrastructure using Python and AWS CDK * Define infrastructure as code, deploy it, and ensure it runs reliably in production * Support and evolve cloud platforms used for data processing, analytics, and R&D workflows * Collaborate closely with a Lead Architect, Product Owner, and a distributed engineering team * Contribute to ongoing projects across data, analytics, and emerging AI/ML use cases * Work in an agile environment, contributing to iterative delivery and continuous improvement
Profil recherchéRequired profile: * Strong, hands-on experience with AWS * Proven use of AWS CDK for Infrastructure as Code * Strong Python development skills * Experience with a range of AWS services, such as: * S3 * EC2 * AWS Batch * RDS * OpenSearch * ECR * CodePipeline / CodeBuild Nice to Have * Experience with Databricks * Exposure to SageMaker * Familiarity with LLMs and AI platforms (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Gemini, LLaMA, Mistral, Cohere), particularly in data processing or ML pipelines
