Our Client's IT Cloud DevOps team is looking for a Cloud Resiliency Practice Owner on AWS public cloud.

The team is the product owner of the Cloud Landing Zone and of the CICD infrastructure, and plays a transversal role to support the IT DevOps teams.


The mission will focus on the resiliency practice, from the requirements ( functional , security , etc … ) to the design ( including the tooling selection ) and to the implementation of the practice & processes.

The perimeter and the objectives are to ensure that the landing zone infrastructure is resilient, and that assets it hosts are built and managed in a way that fosters resiliency.

It encompasses the backup management, the disaster recovery and business continuity management, the chaos engineering, high availability, auto-healing and continuous deployment (blue/green).

The practice aims also to comply with regulatory expectations.

Required profile

The candidate will have strong skills in the following domains:

  • Public Cloud: Amazon Web Services (required): 5 years of experience or more
  • Infrastructure As Code: (Terraform required): 1 years of experience
  • Automation, Continuous Integration and Continuous deployment: (ideally: Gitlab CI): 5 years of experience
  • Backup operations, Disaster recovery and business continuity management: 10 years of experience, including some years in the public cloud.

These skills will be completed by a strong experience in running Production operations and projects, in the field of IT infrastructures.

As the candidate would likely become the ‘Resiliency’ practice owner, her/his achievements as an SRE to secure IT operations at scale thanks to automation will be key to her/his success.

She/he has then software engineering skills that help her/him to implement a resilient, efficient and industrialized information systems.

The candidate is familiar with agile methods (sprint planning, agile ceremonies, …).

The selected candidate will have demonstrated her/his ability to work as a team player, sharing her/his knowledge and documenting the deployed artefacts (architecture, maintainability,…).

In the frame of our activities, on-calls periods are planned.
