Contexte

As a SAP Business Consultant, you will play a crucial role in bridging the business needs of the local textile business with the wider Group IT and SAP teams. Based primarily in Paris, you will build a strong understanding of the textile business and represent its requirements within Group process and system design. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and operational issues, challenge and clarify those requirements where necessary, and translate them into clear functional requirements and change requests for the SAP and wider IT teams. The role is not primarily an SAP configuration or development role. It requires someone who can combine a strong understanding of business processes and SAP with the credibility to work closely with the local organisation and the wider Group IT organisation. You will work with stakeholders across the Group and travel to other Group locations where required.

Mission

Understanding Business Processes • Develop a strong understanding of the local textile business processes, particularly across sales, customer service, pricing, order management, purchasing, supply chain, logistics and finance. • Work closely with business teams to understand their needs, challenges and improvement opportunities. • Understand where textile requirements are genuinely different and where common Group processes and standards should be adopted. • Represent the requirements and interests of the local textile business in Group process and solution discussions. Knowledge of SAP System • Have a strong functional understanding of SAP, preferably S/4HANA, particularly SD / Order-to-Cash and associated interfaces. • Understand how business processes translate into SAP processes and data. • Act as a liaison between the business and the Group SAP and IT teams. • Consider the end-to-end solution, including SAP interfaces and related business applications, rather than SAP in isolation. Communication and Translation of Needs • Translate business needs into clear, structured and appropriately detailed requirements and change requests for internal SAP teams and external consultants. • Challenge requests where appropriate to understand the underlying business requirement rather than simply reproducing existing local processes. • Assess the implications of proposed Group changes for the local textile business and identify requirements or gaps early. • Ensure effective communication between business, functional and technical teams. User Support • Act as a key local point of contact for business users on SAP-related process and functional matters. • Support key users in understanding and correctly using agreed SAP processes. • Help triage significant or recurring issues, distinguishing user/process issues from defects or required system changes. • Work with Group IT and SAP teams to facilitate effective resolution of issues. Customization and Programming • SAP configuration, customization and development will be performed by the appropriate Group SAP teams and/or specialist implementation partners. • The consultant will provide the business understanding, functional requirements, process context and acceptance criteria required for those teams to develop the appropriate solution. • Support functional validation and business acceptance of proposed solutions. Collaboration for Transition • Support the continued transition of the local textile business from implementation and stabilisation into a sustainable Group SAP operating model. • Ensure that important local and textile process knowledge is captured and available to the wider Group. • Work closely with local process owners, key users and existing functional resources. • Help develop effective local ownership of SAP processes while maintaining alignment with Group standards and governance.

Profil recherché

• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, particularly in wholesale, distribution and ideally textiles, fashion or apparel. • Proven functional experience with SAP, preferably S/4HANA, particularly SD / Order-to-Cash and interfacing. • Experience working between business teams and SAP/IT delivery teams. • Ability to understand complex or sometimes ambiguous business requirements and translate them into clear functional requirements. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and stakeholder-management capability. • Fluent French and strong English are required given the local Paris and international Group dimensions of the role. • Experience working in an international and multi-entity environment is desirable.
